At the solemn service of the All-Night Vigil, during the singing of the Polyelei, the relics of the holy martyr Peter were brought under the vaults of the monastery church of the Apostle John the Theologian.
On Sunday, 27 October, His Eminence Methodius, Metropolitan of Perm and Kungur, led a festive divine service. By this solemn day, a new carved reliquary was built for the relics of the holy martyr on the donations of the worshipers.
Among the invited clergy was the rector of the Edinoverie Transfiguration of the Saviour community of Kurovskoye, priest Alexis Guglivaty. The Kurovskoye Edinoverie Orthodox community took an active part in the glorification of the relics of the martyr Peter Vyatkin. By the efforts of the community Edinoverie vestments were sewed for the vesting of the relics of the holy martyr.
With the blessing of Metropolitan Methodius of Perm and Kungur, a part of the relics of the holy martyr Peter Vyatkin was handed over to the Kurovskoye community of the Transfiguration of the Saviour, for which a reliquary is currently being made.

Priest-martyr Peter Vyatkin was a superior of the Edinoverie churches of the Perm diocese. In 1912 he was one of the delegates to the first All-Russian congress of Edinovertsy in St Petersburg and served as a rector of the Edinoverie church in the village of Sretenskoye, Perm province. In 1918 in the village of Sretenskoye Priest Pyotr Vyatkin was brutally tortured by the god-fighters.
It is worth noting that the holy martyr Peter Vyatkin is the only Edinoverie saint to have his relics glorified in the Russian Orthodox Church. In the same diocese served also another priest-martyr, especially honoured by Orthodox Old Believers - the Edinoverie priest Simeon Konyukhov. The date of the commemoration of the holy martyr Simeon Konyukhov is 15/28 October.
Holy martyrs Peter and Simeon, pray God for us!
