July 16 - 21, 2024 at the Edinoverie Church of St. Peter the Metropolitan in the village of Avsyunino a congress of Edinovertsy was held. The participants of the congress came to Avsyunino village from different parts of Russia. At the congress Edinovertsy discussed the current problems of the Edinoverie. Edinovertsy took an active part in conservation work on the church of St. Peter the Metropolitan, preparation for the procession, cleaning the territory of the church and the chapel at the holy spring.
The climax of the convention was the procession to the holy spring dedicated to the feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God on July 21, the feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. After the Divine Liturgy in the Transfiguration of the Savior community of the town of Kurovskoye, the guests and parishioners went to the procession to the village of Avsyunino. From 11:30 a.m. from the church of St. Peter the Metropolitan in the village of Avsyunino they went in procession to the holy spring of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God.
The rector of the church of St. Peter the Metropolitan in the village of Avsyunino, priest Alexey Guglivaty, was accompanied by the rector of the church of St. Nicholas on Bersenevka, hegumen Kiril (Sakharov). During the procession a moleben service to the Kazan icon of the Mother of God was prayed. At the holy spring rite of consecration of water and blessing of the spring was performed. At the end of the procession everyone could enjoy a festive meal in the church of St. Peter the Metropolitan in the village of Avsyunino.
