On June 22 of this year, the congregation of the Holy Protection Edinoverie church in the village of Maloe Murashkino, led by its rector, priestmonk Sergei (Gaponov), celebrated an old rite Liturgy on the day of St. Cyril of Belozersk by the invitation of archpriest George Zhuchkov at the church of St. Nicholas in the village of Isady, Lyskovsky district.
In the village before the revolution, there were three churches, one of them was old ritualist, which survived, but until 2015 was in ruins. Thanks to local patrons, the church is being transformed from ruins into a wonderful work of art of church architecture. Let God grant strength in the revival of the church and the tradition that was in this church, the tradition of old Russian worship. The place where the church stands is stunning in its majesty and beauty, high steep bank of the Volga River carries away thoughts in the boundless expanses of God's creation!
