On the 15th of July, a solemn service dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the restoration of priesthood was held in the old rite Narivity church in Erie, USA. The Divine Liturgy according to the old rite was led by the First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad Metropolitan Nicholas (Olkhovsky), he was accompanied by Bishop John (Berzin) of Caracas and South America and the clergy of the church.
It should be mentioned that the Pomorian community of Erie joined the Church and restored the canonical priesthood in 1983.
